August 27 - Harvest Mouse



Harvest Mouse - (Micromys minutus) a small rodent typically found in fields of cereal crops such as wheat and oats as well as long grass and hedgerows.

During the summer months the harvest mouse builds its nest between the stalks of wheat, high above the ground.
